The objective of the Collaborative Northeast District Plan is to address historical inequities and foster inclusive development in northeastern Travis County. The initiative is a joint effort between Travis County and the City of Austin to look at inequities and disinvestments around public transportation, housing, displacement, infrastructure, economic development, food access, and more.
The Northeast District Plan Community Advisory Committee (CAC) will help guide planning for the Northeast District Plan area. CAC members will share community perspectives, help identify community needs, and support outreach to residents, businesses, organizations, and other stakeholders connected to the area.
The CAC may be up to 20 members: 10 selected by Travis County and 10 selected by the City of Austin. Five of the City-selected seats will be filled by representatives from the key stakeholder organizations named in the Interlocal Agreement. This interest form is for the remaining applicant-selected seats.
Your responses will be used to help select a CAC that reflects the geography, experiences, and diversity of the Northeast District Plan area community.
This form should take about 15 minutes to complete.
